Yurt Tent - Lanjarón (Alpujarra)

The Yurt is located at a Healing Retreat Centre, at the foothills of the spectacular Sierra Nevada Mountains. The view from the Yurt is breathtaking as you gaze across the stunning olive and almond orchards slopes, up to the majestic mountains. The terrain is full of organic abundance and is a truly special place: harmonious, healing and peaceful. As well as being eco-friendly, the Yurt is self-contained and partly equipped with all modern facilities. The yurts have a different energy from more conventional living spaces, as their rounded shape creates a sense of spaciousness and tranquillity. At night, you can gaze up at the stars and during the day natural light fills the Yurts.

The Yurt has a diametre of 7 m, has a wooden floor and canvas walls. There is a double and a single bed and a mattress for additional guests. The Yurt is fully equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer and a comprehensive selection of cooking utensils, cutlery and glasses. The Yurt tent is situated in a big olive orchard together with a smaller Yurt.

The Yurt

The tent has a wooden floor and has:

• a big double bed
  
• a small table with four chairs
  
• a wood burning stove
  
• a refrigerator & freezer
  
• a cooker with oven
  
• utensils for cooking and serving
  
• small household electrical appliances (microwave)
  
• basic kitchen stuff (salt, sugar, oil, coffee, tea, soap, ..)
  
• a sink
  

There is an outdoor compost poo (15 meters away) and an outdoor shower, equipped with a solar system to heat the water. The shower is located below the Yurt. In the garden you can enjoy a large swimming pool. The facilities mentioned before are communal.

This place is an ideal basis if you want to visit the Natural Park Sierra Nevada and discover the beauty of the Alpujarra, but also be close to Granada and the Costa Tropical.
