A small town with 313 inhabitants (2014) in the east of region Alhama. The Latin word "Agrum" means "Field" and refers to the farming that has been a way of life of the inhabitants of Lagron. It probably has been founded by the Arabics because of the presence of an old watch tower.
The town is not located in his origin city. This was located 3,5 km away from the current town on a small hill where still the remains can be found. In the summer the town is alive, full of visitors seeking peace. During the winter, a cold winter, Agron is a ghost town, with only 100 inhabitants.
