Puebla de Don Fadrique

The village is located at 1164 meters above sea level and has 2324 inhabitants (2014). It is located north of the Granada province and is the penultimate town in the province bordering Murcia.

Like Huéscar it is close to the mountain la Sagra. The village has a rich history like the prehistoric paintings. In the mountains is the Observatorio Astronómico de la Sagra situated, which is also open for public.

Las Santas is celebrated at the end of May or the beginning of June;
Between the 17th and the 20th of October the festivities in honor of the patron are held;
The Fiestas de las Ánimas y Cascaborras is celebrated from the 25th until the 29th of December.
