Rio Verde - Otívar
The canyon that has been formed by the river "Rio Verde" is a very popular destination for people who love canyoning or hiking. The canyon is situated in the Natural Park Sierra de la Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama. The park has fast flowing rivers and spectacular waterfalls like the "Los Arboles Pertificados" where the water has petrified old tree trunks that where stucked when the fall down a waterfall.
