Bácor is a separate center town in the municipality of Guadix, located north of the Vega. The village is located in a great landscape with strong contrasts between the hills and gullies of the Bad-Lands and the intensely green wooded valley. From historical point of view, it is abundant in prehistoric pottery and even Roman and Muslim. Its salt was important for the Catholic Kings, who united the castle and town. The town was granted to the family of Hernando Zafra, secretary of the Catholic Monarchs.

- Castle: Castillo de Bácor (currently renovating);
- Church;
- "Monte Pajarillo" path "Trancamulas" a hiking trail of 13 km starting at the town square. It has a medium difficulty and includes a visit to Interpretation Center of the Natural Forest on Monte Pajarillo. A guide is established in the town;
- Cueva de Rafa Moya (Artist & sculptor) situated in calle Los Moyas;
- "Algarves" in the street of the same name. Remains of primitive settlements.
- Remains of a Roman raft on the river bank Baúl-Bácor.
