Los Villares

The small town was originally a settlement of sheep herders and goats, also the valley of the promenade, which is known as La Cañada or Cañada del Rey was the meadow of the farm of the royal army. It is assumed that these yegüeros also were bivouacking in the settlement that gave growth to this settlement. With the departure of the livestock the Cañada was plowing and waking up the agriculture, that became the primary breadwinner of the population. Today a little more than hundred persons are living in this village and it is part of the municipality of La Peza
