Complejo Sima de Nívar - La Lata - Nivar

The caves are situated in the municipality of Nivar, between the old trenches of the Spanish Civil War and overlooking the Embalse Cubillas and the sierras of Parapanda, Elvira and Sierra Nevada. The entry of Sima de Nivar is a rappel of 15 meters down. It is has very nice stalactites and stalagmites. You can enter this cave and exit a different one; Sima de Lata, making the journey more interesting. The caves are only accessible for experienced cavers.
