Cueva de la Encantada - Huéscar

They say that the cave served as a hideout, a prison for the Christian troops in the reconquest. It is located on the south side of the mountain range of the same name, about 30 minutes from Huesca, next to which was probably the ancient town of Iberian time. This town called Úskar was not very important because the larger core of settlement was then Tútugi, predecessor of the current Galera.

A large hole in the rock provides access to the cave. Once inside, the views and beauty are very poor, and the interior of the cave is only about 10 meters deep. In the bottom of the cave to the left, there is a small crack without difficulties that allows access to another small room, but the lack of natural light leaves completely indifferent. Today, it is used as a shelter for shepherds and animals, hence the smell of winning it becomes annoying.
