The cave is situated at the southern slopes from the La Sagra. Lanterns are essential to enter the cave which is divided in two big cave halls. The first one is easy to enter. The cave is almost 1,000 square meters. The river Guadalquivir is born in the cave what is the groundwater of the southern slope of the Sierra de la Sagra. The most significant stream is reaching the Ermita de la Virgen de la Cabeza. The second cave room is difficult to reach; you have to have a swimm suit in order to get not be froozen by the cold mountain water because you have to crawl through the river in order to reach it. This room is far way more intact. The stalagtites are still there and are not destroyed like in the first room.
