Cueva del Agua de Padro Negro - PN Sierra de Huetor

Very nice cave which is situated on the  hill of Jinestral (1,913 m). The entrance of the cave is situated on the Tajos del Ginestral, on a altitude of 1800 m. (UTM coordinates - 4609 41329). The cave mouths has two outside accesses. If you enter the one situated to the northeast you will access a large room with the floor heavily tilted outward. At the back of the room a very narrow passage allows you to continue exploring through a succession of galleries and rooms with lots of blocks on the floor. The maximum depth of the cave is -35 m and the highest point + 17.8 m.  It is located outside the Natural Park of Sierra de Huétor, although it belongs to the municipality of Huétor Santillán.
