Natural Area Sierra La Sagra - Huéscar

La Sagra is with an altitude of 2383 meters one of the highest mountains of the Subbetic mountain chain. La Sagra is part of the European Network of Protected Natural Areas. There are guided tours that leads you to the top (2383 meters). This trip will take about 7 hours (up and down). At the south slope of the La Sagra is the winery Irving (Fernández Herrero)  situated. This is one of the highest wine producers of Europe. Shepperds are using the hills of La Sagra also for their sheep.
