The Casa de las Chirimías, is named after a musical wind instrument and is a 17th century construction. It was a viewpoint where the celebrations of the Paseo de los Tristes were watched. The building was one of the first in Baroque style.The inner structure responds to the function for which was designed; Temple of Music. The space is marked by the visible pilasters, and the square is just broken into the corner by the staircase leading up. Today a tourist information point is located at the ground floor.
