The District - Center Sagrario
The City Center is the central area of Granada. It consists of the districts of Centro-Sagrario and Realejo-San Matías. The City Center is bordering the districts of Beiro, Albaicín, Genil and Ronda.
The district includes many historic neighborhoods such as El Barranco del Lawyer, The Sorrows, San Matías, Santa Ana, Magdalena or Gracia.
In the center are famous monuments located like the Cathedral, the Royal Chapel, where the remains of the Kings Juana la Loca and Felipe el Hermoso are situated. The Alcaicería, el Zacatín, the old silk market of the United Nazari of Granada, the City Hall, the Bib-Rambla square, the Plaza de las Pasiegas.
The main shopping area of the city is concentrated around the streets; Recogidas, Mesones, Alhóndiga, Puentezuelas, Gran Vía de Colón, Reyes Católicos and Acera del
Darro.
