Cueva los Covarrones - Natural Park Sierra de Castril

The cave is situated in Natural Park Sierra de Castril at the peak of the Los Tejos. The entrance of the chasm small in the favor of a small fracture in the northeast slope of the peak Los Tejos, next to a small promontory or morra. The chasm is a single vertical cave of 40 m. in which some stalagmite castings can be observed. At the bottom is a ramp with blocks that obstructs any possible continuation. Material recommended for a visit: a rope of 45 meters, 3 snap hooks and 3 plates.

UMT coordinates: 5149-41867, at an altitude of 1,845 meters and a vertical drop of 50 meters.
